On 1 January 2007, the Dutch corporation, Heijmans NV in Rosmalen, acquired Oevermann’s construction business, with the structural engineering, civil engineering, traffic route engineering and mechanical engineering areas in Westphalia.
With the vitality and expertise of the Dutch buyer, the firm and the Oevermann brand will position itself in the market in the future, too, successfully. |

| Through the Opening of the Inner German Border a huge area of operation, particularly in road and home construction, opened up for the German construction industry thanks to the opening of the inner German border. Oevermann is deeply committed to “Aufbau Ost“, “Construction East”.

| After the Second World War, the company quickly started afresh. Our firm played a large part in the re-construction of the houses in Münster and in the construction of the roads and the sewer system. The first company branches in other cities were founded.

| Josef Oevermann took over operations after the death of his father, Dietrich Oevermann. The workshop was expanded into a multifaceted construction company. New site: Hammer Straße in Münster. Focus areas: structural engineering was now added to civil engineering.

| Dietrich Oevermann founded the “D. Oevermann Civil Engineering Plant” in Gallizinstraße in Münster. Focus areas: paving, the still emerging technology of bituminous paving, and civil engineering works.
